Technical Support - Windows XP Dial Up Networking

This document assumes that you already have another dial up Internet connection with another provider and that Dial Up Networking and the TCP/IP Protocol are installed on your computer.

If you do not already have another dial up Internet connection on your system you are advised to download the customised configuration program here.

This document will help you manually configure Windows XP to connect to RYA Online using Dial-Up Networking. Please read the entire document before attempting to connect.

Creating and configuring a dial up connection to RYA Online

To configure a dial up network connection to RYA Online. Click on Start, select Control Panel. From here, double click on Network Connections.

Double click on New Connection which brings up the connection wizard below. Click Next.

Select Connect to the Internet and click Next.

Select Set up my Internet connection manually as above, then click on Next.

Select Connect using a dial-up modem then click on Next.

Enter Mistral Internet then click Next.

Enter the new phone number, 0845 028 8899, then click Next.

Enter your username and password, then tick all three options. Click Next.

Click Finish.
